Well, it’s finally here!

For those who haven’t met me, my name is Davey from Stumblor Pinball. I make mods. Lots, and lots, of mods. It started out as a hobby and mini side hustle, and then kinda went completely off the rails when the first of the Tokyo Neon series (the Scoop sign), blew up in a massive way. Three years, a new workshop and 3 staff later and I’m now pulling midnight shifts every second day, dreaming about C++ memory management, and am a borderline recluse. Don’t fret doh! I’m having the time of my life.

This building has been a long time coming, and everyone who is on the not so insignificant preorder list has been very, very patient with me, for which I am very grateful. Massive thank you to you list-ians and I sincerely hope you feel like the wait is worth it.

So what in heckfire is it? A building stupid! The middle back building to be precise. The original is just a dark grey drab thing, with no markings in particular to identify it as one thing or another. @Mezel turned it into a Theatre when they made their mod, so now mine is too! A brutalist Tokyo concrete Theatre, smashed up by everyone’s favourite green Kaiju with breath so bad it destroys anything that smells it. I think I have that right.

So enough jibber jabber! Let’s see the damn thing.

Features

  • Mechanically animated collapsing side wall, which triggers during multiball and reveals animated RGB fire underneath.
  • 4 piece cast resin and hand painted building facade
  • RGB Animated "cut" resin corner piece
  • 4 x RGB animated Neon signs at front of the building showing lock status
  • Lolly V3 powered - all patterns, colours and triggers fully configurable over iOS, Android or Web.
  • Compatible with ALL versions of the game.

Pro owners - you can now have a collapsing building! We’ll be filling the center hold with an extension of the red windows, with some laser etching to look like cracks.

Premium and LE owners, you can now have 2 collapsing buildings! That’s just greedy tbh.

Couple of things to mention -

You might have noticed the right ramp has been removed for the videos. This is due to a couple of last minute fitment issues around the bottom right edge of the building that we’ll have to create a little channel for.

Also, you’ll be able to see some print lines in the collapsing wall section. This was again due to time constraints. We FDM printed it, but for production it will the usual quality, with some edge highlighting to make it stand out a bit more.

To celebrate the release of the final building, we’ve produced a special thank you gift for all those people who have bought the full complement of Tokyo Neon mods. A “Stumblor Edition” plaque for the speaker panel. This will be RGB lit and interactive with the game, because why do things by halves eh. This will be a free, complimentary gift, send with the Theatre, to anyone with the full set of mods, regardless of whether you bought direct or on the secondary market.
