Rest assured the audio quality is EXCELLENT! One thing however is that the Original "Classic" orchestration that often comes across as being grainy, or staticy, is VASTLY improved. On other games that have the regular flipper fidelity speakers, the older recordings can sound really bad, as this type of speaker can accentuate the bad sounds. This is not the case on the XL panel. The grainy texture of the old recordings seems to be smoothed out a lot. It may be that the small speakers are hi-passing or filtering out the noise (or it just doesn't translate on the cone) that is usually present. All in all, Im VERY pleased with the audio.
